The client
A breathwork and meditation coach in the United Kingdom, with courses and classes for high-performing professionals and programs that companies offer to their employees and clients.
The product and our role
- A mobile app (iOS and Android, phone and tablet) with a library, filters, playlists and progress tracking.
- An admin platform to manage content and generate promo codes for demos to companies and investors.
Our work had three parts: we unblocked a vibe-coded web platform (security flaws, no tests), evolved that codebase into the admin area, and built the app from scratch in React Native.
The challenge
- A product that could not go to production.
- Privacy regulatory risk in the United Kingdom and Europe.
- A rudimentary web version, slow on phones.
- Nothing concrete to show companies and investors, only the idea.
What we delivered
- An iOS and Android app, built from scratch: classes, guided sessions, a library with playlists, and picking up where you left off.
- An admin area to manage content and generate demo access.
- A full security and performance review of the existing codebase, with automated tests.
- UK GDPR and PECR compliance: permanent account deletion from the app, tracking consent on iPhone, and sensitive data removed from error reports.
Results
- The app is published in the App Store and on Google Play, launched on schedule.
- The platform is in use with published content, stable, and with a look that lives up to the brand.
- Users are growing, and investors and prospective clients are trying it out.
