The client
A Brazilian LegalTech and FinTech company that connects owners of lawsuits, court-ordered government debts (precatórios) and defaulted credit portfolios with investors and funds.
The platform serves the owners of the claims, originating partners (lawyers, accountants and advisors) and the internal team, across 11 access profiles.
The product and our role
A web platform with a public website, to bring in clients and partners, and a logged-in area where clients register their claim with its documents and follow its progress, while the internal team analyzes, approves, prices and negotiates it.
Codeminer42 built it from scratch, from a scope written together with the client.
The challenge
- Origination was artisanal, spread over email, WhatsApp and loose documents.
- Legal analysis was slow and expensive: senior lawyers reading case files hundreds of pages long.
- Decisions left no trail.
- The partner network had no structure for referrals and commissions.
- Clients had no visibility into the progress of their claim.
What we delivered
- Guided registration of each claim, with uploads of large files and the required documents collected up front.
- AI analysis (a score, assessment dimensions, likelihood and expected time of success, points of attention), reviewed and edited by a lawyer: the AI speeds things up, the lawyer decides.
- A triage pipeline with an internal forum, formal feedback to the client and an immutable audit trail.
- An investment one-pager generated as a PDF.
- A referral and commission program that tracks every referral.
- A negotiation dashboard restricted to the board.
- LGPD compliance in three layers (route, profile and database), a published privacy policy and terms, and defenses against prompt injection in uploaded documents.
Results
As reported by the client:
- A single source of truth in place of emails and spreadsheets.
- Complete registrations reaching the legal team.
- Transparency for the end client.
